Ten month contract to start immediately. Client is located in the Auburn area. Great company, great group. This position is responsible for designing and developing web-based interfaces between vendor applications in a distributed environment. All work is to be done onsite.
Required experience and skills:
- A minimum of five years application development experience designing and programminginterfaces for vendor applications in a distributed environment.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005.
- SQL queries and stored procedures including proficient use of transactions and error handling.
- Experience developing web based applications in ASP.Net with C#.
- Visual Source Safe.
- XML, XML schema validation, and XSLT. W3C standards preferred.
- Familiarity with basic accounting concepts.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve problems in a distributed environment.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Helpful experience and skills:
- Financial applications (receivables and/or payables).
- Telerik controls.
- Java.
- IBM WebSphere Development Studio.
- Web services (provider and consumer).
