Are you a creative force behind web services and applications? Are you usually the person driving large (end user focused or enterprise focused) feature sets and getting the development team excited about to work on it? If so, we want to meet with you! SecondSpace is looking for an experienced Program Manager who can work side-by-side with a strong development team to build a highly scalable and manageable web platform and Applications.
The Program Manager works with the Enterprise Customers, Marketing, Executives, Operations, and Customer Support groups to bring online new features, web applications, and web sites to directly impact revenue, traffic, and/or user experience and satisfaction. Tasks include defining end user features, writing specifications, developing project schedules and driving the team to release
The SecondSpace Web UI platform is capable of rendering hundreds of web sites using the same code base, and same server instance, using a highly scalable (patent-pending) technology. Additionally, we have built a behavioral targeting engine to render content targeted at a specific user or a group of users. Also, the platform includes patent-pending W3C-compliant Semantic Search engine and indexing of the faceted search using SOLR. Going forward, we will extend the content management system to allow internal producers, and external editors, to edit any content on any page (instead of developers churning out this code per module/page).
Skills Required:
Candidate should have excellent technical and communication skills with relevant industry experience in developing large scale web sites. Must also have strong project management experience, be an advocate for the customer, and be able to balance business and schedule requirements. 6+ year's industry experience as Software Program Management and a BS in computer science or related field required. A strong understanding of web technologies is also required; knowledge of Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, and ASP.NET is a plus
