Yes, yes, those nasty oil companies made money the past four or five years. Their hundreds of thousands of stockholders almost doubled their money in the same time period. My aunt Mabel had a thousand shares herself and made about $50K on it. And my buddy, Lewis had a thousand shares too. They're not rich, but it will sure help their retirement. They're both going to tithe and give from their blessing of course; so maybe, after gifting and taxes, they'll have enough to buy a new car for their retirement years.
