Yuasa Clothing is currently looking for an experienced technical apparel designer as an addition to our team.We are an upcoming men's loungewear and underwear line based in Seattle, Washington with a focus on knitwear.Our current work is for Spring/Summer of 2009 as well as creating designs for Fall/winter of 2009.We have plans to expand our line into wovens in the coming seasons as well.
Yuasa is a men's loungewear line with elements of architecture, youthfulness, romanticism, femininity, sexuality, and pop culture.Our clothing has a linear slim tailored fit with quality fabrics and forward designs.
Job Duties would include:
Pattern making with help from an assistant
Spec Packs
Some Technical Drawings
Fittings
Measuring and Fitting of Models
Sample Making
Helping to Communicate with Domestic and Overseas Manufacturers
Required Skills:
Men's Pattern Drafting
Spec Pack Creation
Knitwear Knowledge
Fabric Knowledge
Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
Industrial Machines and Usage
Sewing Skills
Different Stitches
Pay:
We do not have a lot of money so either equity in the company or negotiable hourly pay
