In 1988, performance artist laurie anderson was touring her "Mr. Heartbreak" project. A signing was held at UW Tower records; I chose for her to sign a now rare LP titled "New Music for Recorded and Electronic Media" (1750 Arch Records #S-1765, 1977) - she was so pleased w/my choice that she made a drawing for me on the front of the record, as well as signing it. Laurie Anderson's piece is a very funny bit called "New York Telephone Conversation",-I believe that this is her first appearance on a record. Other artists (all woman) : P. Oliverous, J.M. Beyer, A. Lockwood, L. Speigel, M. Roberts, Ruth Anderson. Experimental electronic music, quite progressive for it's time. I hate to let this go, but I must...Original art by an internationally acclaimed artist, suitable, well, for framing...and it's a scarce LP to boot. Record is in near-mint condition, archivally stored. Arthur, 206 441 9501, or via this. thanks
