Environmental clean-up and construction works in a medieval village in Abruzzo Fara San Martino, Abruzzo July 1 - July 15, 2008
Volunteer project: The volunteer project will take place in the medieval village of Fara San Martino, on the eastern border of the Majella National Park at about 460 m altitude. Volunteers will build and put up wooden security fences along the road between the Park entrance and San Martino gorges. Volunteers will also clean the olive-yard below the road, which is often used as a garbage dump. Project language: English Location: Abbateggio, Pescara district, Abruzzo region, Centre of Italy Age limit: 18 and over
