Responsibilities to Include: Administer and maintain local and wide area network server hardware and software, daily network maintenance, installation of new applications, distributing software upgrades, monitoring daily activity, and routine backups.As a member of the IT team you will be called on to stretch your understanding of and knowledge of new areas of technology and software as the company needs expand.You will be called on to provide your expertise in creating workable software and hardware solutions to business needs. Abilities & Experience: Network & Server: •Windows 2003 server administration (configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, backup and recovery). •Windows 2003 network administration (DHCP, DNS, WINS, firewall and port blocking, routers, IIS, VPN connectivity). •Watchguard Firewall knowledge, •Active Directory management, •SAN management, •Group Policy, •Exchange Server and solid demonstrable understanding of TCP/IP networks and technologies, •Application Servers, File Servers, Print Serves, Web Servers, •Network Security and Domain Policies, •Symantic Antivirus, •Sharepoint experience a plus! Domain and User: •User Workstations, Thin Clients •Windows XP •MS Office (all versions) •End user support on software and connectivity Voice: •Voice and Fax line set up and management, (GFI knowledge a plus) •Definity Telephone •DuVoice Voice Mail •Work with Telecommunications providers (AT&T, QWEST, as needed). Call in and manage any trouble tickets Other: Knowledge of •IBM iSeries •Linux •Websphere A Plus!
