AVAILABLE NOW, FOR 1 PERSON ONLY, a fully furnished studio apartment in the daylight basement of a house 6 blocks north of Green Lake, 4 blocks south of North Seattle Community College, on the west side of I-5. Short-term (1 month minimum) or longer-term rental. The monthly rate is $725 per month, and after the first month, it can be rented either by the month, or by the week at $225 per week.
Utilities and Comcast hi-speed internet are included in the rent (except no telephone, but it is wired for hook-up by the tenant).
There is a private outside entrance. The studio has a small fully equipped kitchen (except no d/w), including dishes and cooking utensils; dining table; living room area with tv (expanded cable); and king-sized bed, including bedding.
The bathroom, with a shower--no bathtub--is up a flight of stairs, on the main floor of the house, off of the utility room. With very rare exceptions (for the toilet), it is used only by the studio tenants.
Use of the washer and drier, including soap, is $1.50 per load.
The house is located on a quiet residential street with street parking no problem. Several bus routes are nearby, including #16, #48 (to UofW), and #355. The Northgate Transit Center is about 10 blocks away. There is easy access to I-5 and Highway 99/Aurora.
